If you register for a language course, you can also book accommodation and board through the Institute.
There are a number of types of accommodation to choose from, including in a host family, which fosters contact with the local inhabitants and practice of the language learnt in class, or single rooms for those who prefer to be independent.
Accommodation in a host family
Accommodation in a host family can be booked with full board or half board
Those booking half board receive breakfast and dinner every day as well as lunch on the weekend. The price for full board further includes lunch from Monday to Friday.
Lunch is offered in a restaurant near the Institute (five minutes walking distance).
Teenagers under 18 are always lodged with host families.
Accommodation in apartement or hotel
Those who opt for accommodation in a guest room can choose from rooms in category A or B.
- Guest rooms/apartments in category A are in small living quarters with a private bathroom.
- Guest rooms /apartments in category B have a shared bathroom.
Accommodation in apartments and flats is on a self-catering basis. Communal kitchens are supplied with cooking and eating utensils.
Those who would rather stay in a hotel during their language course can choose from rooms in a range of categories A or B. Hotel accommodation includes always breakfast.
Transfer
The Institute offers a transfer service from Stuttgart airport and Stuttgart train station. This service must be booked on the enrolment form.
