Telc stands for The European Language Certificates. The telc GmbH is a subsidiary of the Deutschen Volkshochschule-Verband e.v. (German community college). It offers courses for the general public and in doing so promotes personal development and further education for those wishing to expand their vocational and professional skills; it is thus recognized as a non-profit organization.

TOEIC
The TOEIC test (TEST OF ENGLISH FOR INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATION) measures the language skills in international business English at the intermediate and advanced levels.When the new TOEIC speaking and writing tests were implemented in 2007, the TOEIC became a complete and comprehensive assessment tool for all four language skills. Listening and reading comprehension are measured using the paper-and-pencil method, speaking and writing are internet-based.

Deutsch-Französisches Jugendwerk
The FGYO (Franco-German Youth Office) is an international organization which promotes German-French cooperation and has two addresses, one in Berlin and one in Paris. Its creation can be traced back to the Elysée Treaty in 1963. The FYGO is directed towards all young people, regardless of their interests and hobbys: school, university, profession, education, culture, sports, free time. Its goal is to intensify its efforts to appeal to new target groups and to help young people to become active and committed citizens.

FaDaF
The FaDaF (Professional Association of German as a Foreign Language) promotes the learning of the German language and thus intercultural encounters as well. In doing so, it is particularly committed to promoting the understanding of foreign cultures. In addition, its functions are to assist foreign students in learning the German language, to support the interests of the FaDaF and all those working in this field or their facilities as well as to promote the training of teachers and of young academics for DaF.

Bundesamt für Migration und Flüchtlinge
